Pumping equipment to place concrete where the truck cannot reach: roofs, interior courtyards, elevated slabs and long runs.
A pour is lost in the last twenty metres. The concrete can leave the plant perfect and arrive on time, but if it is barrowed under the Mexicali sun, watered down so it flows and placed in separate batches, the element ends up with cold joints and uneven strength. Pumping solves exactly that stretch.
Proceco operates concrete pumping equipment for efficient placement at different distances and heights. The pump keeps a continuous flow, respects the design slump — no need to water the mix down to move it — and allows several trucks to discharge back to back onto the same front, which is the condition for a monolithic pour.

No extra water
The pump moves concrete at the design slump. No water is added to make it run, so the full strength reaches the formwork.

Questions about concrete pumping
It is scheduled together with the ready-mix. When the volume is quoted we define whether the front needs a pump, what reach it requires and what time to pour, because all three depend on each other.
The design is adjusted to be pumpable without sacrificing strength. What we do not do is fix workability by adding water on site, which is the mistake that costs the most strength.
Formwork checked and shored, rebar placed and verified, clear access for the equipment and enough crew to vibrate and finish. The pump places at a rate the crew has to be able to keep up with.
Yes, and that is where it helps most, because it shortens the time between discharge and placement. Even so the pour is scheduled early in the morning or in the afternoon and the surface is protected from wind and sun.
