Concrete block in four sizes, produced at our own plant in Tijuana. Consistent, strong units available by the pallet.
Blocks are precast units for building walls. They are made of cement, water, gravel and sand — that is, traditional concrete. It sounds simple, and precisely for that reason quality is decided in details that do not show in a photo: the batching, the curing and the dimensional consistency of the unit.
Proceco produces its own block at the plant in Col. Ejido Ojo de Agua, Tijuana. That means we control the mix and the curing, and the unit arrives consistent: when the block measures the same from one pallet to the next, the mortar joint stays constant, the wall rises plumb and the render does not have to correct for it. We carry the four sizes in common use in Baja California.

Block #4 — 10×20×40 cm
The 10 cm unit, for partition walls and light enclosures with no load requirement.
Block #5 — 12×20×40 cm
Intermediate size, common in interior walls and low perimeter walls.
Block #6 — 15×20×40 cm
The most used in housing: a good balance of weight, cost and wall capacity.
Block #8 — 20×20×40 cm
The 20 cm unit, for load-bearing walls, perimeter fencing and projects that need more section.

Questions about concrete block
It depends on whether the wall carries load or just divides. Load-bearing walls and perimeter fencing normally use 15 or 20 cm; an interior partition is fine at 10 or 12 cm. If there is a structural design, follow it.
With the 20×40 cm face you get roughly 12.5 units per square metre before deducting openings, plus waste and joints. At the branch we help you calculate from your actual dimensions.
Dampened lightly, not saturated. A dry block steals water from the mortar and the joint does not cure; a soaked block prevents bond. The right point is in between.
Yes. The Tijuana block plant supplies by pallet with home delivery. Quantity, site access and date are defined when quoting.
