Grout is 3 % of a floor's surface and 100 % of what looks wrong when it fails. It stains, fades, powders at the corners, and suddenly an expensive finish looks neglected. The cause is almost always the same: it was chosen by colour instead of by joint type, traffic and moisture exposure.

We carry the three options that cover the real cases. Boquichamp Flowing and Sealed is a semi-fine controlled-grain grouting mortar with integral pigment and special additives giving initial liquid repellency. Boquichamp Ultrafino is fine-grained, with selected pigments, additives and chemicals that provide an excellent-hardness, high-adhesion finish. Boquichamp Ultragrout is a high-strength urethane-based grout, ready to use in joints from 1.6 mm wide, with excellent hardness and permanent colours.

Questions about grouts

Boquichamp Ultragrout is ready to use in joints from 1.6 mm wide. Ultrafino also works for fine joints, with fine grading and excellent hardness.

Because it is porous and absorbs. Formulations with initial liquid repellency and urethane-based ones resist far better. In kitchens and high-traffic areas it is worth going straight to the highest-strength option.

The pigment is integral to the mix. Ultragrout in particular offers permanent colours. What does fade quickly is a joint sealed on top once that sealer wears away.

It depends on the product and the ambient temperature. In hot weather the times shorten; check the data sheet for the product you take and do not bring traffic forward.
