Microfibres distributed uniformly through the mix to control microcracking and deliver more durable floors, crack-free and with less maintenance.
Cracks in a concrete floor almost never come from the load: they come from the first few hours. While the concrete is still plastic it loses water to evaporation, shrinks and opens into fine fissures that grow later. In Mexicali and Tijuana, with temperatures above 40 °C, low humidity and dry wind, that process accelerates and the working window shrinks to minutes.
Fibre-reinforced concrete attacks that mechanism from within. The fibres are distributed uniformly through the mass and work as three-dimensional reinforcement: they stitch plastic and drying shrinkage microcracking before it becomes a visible crack. They also reduce bleeding and segregation in the fresh state, so the surface reaches finishing tighter and more uniform.

Questions about fibre-reinforced concrete
No. Microfibre controls shrinkage cracking, a phenomenon of the first few hours. Reinforcing steel works for structural strength. They are two different functions and in most floors they coexist.
With correct finishing the surface closes and the fibre is not noticeable. Loose fibre may show if the surface is overworked or poorly cured.
Whenever you pour in hot weather, wind or low humidity, and on any large exposed surface: industrial floors, sidewalks and pavements. That is where plastic shrinkage does the most damage.
Not fundamentally. It is placed, vibrated and finished the same way. What does not change is the need to cure: microfibre helps, but it does not replace immediate curing or protection from sun and wind.
